General Exchanges and Returns

The UCCS Campus Store reserves the right to determine the validity of all returns and exchanges.

Marketplace/Akademos Purchased Course Materials:

If you decide to opt out of TAAP and purchase your course materials via Marketplace/Akademos, please note that we do not handle these orders. Please visit Akademos Marketplace Returns for the return policy, information, and assistance.

TAAP Charge Refund Policy:

  • Opt-out on or before Census date of each semester for the TAAP Charge to be “credited” from your account
  • Classes 2 weeks or less in length: Course Materials are non-returnable
  • TAAP is not refundable after Census Day.

Shipped to Home TAAP Orders:

If the student receives a damaged or defective item(s), please contact Customer Service Center and login to communicate with the customer service support team.

TAAP MERCHANDISE RETURN/REFUND DEADLINES:

OPTED-OUT/DROPPED COURSE(S)

  • All items received through TAAP must be returned within 7 business days from the TAAP-out/Dropped date, in the original condition. Shrink-wrapped items must remain sealed.
  • If items are not returned or are returned damaged, the student will be charged the retail price of the items.
  • Unreturned items will result in a charge to the student account during the following weeks:
    • Fall: First week in October
    • Spring: First week in March
    • Summer: First week in July
  • PPE items (lad coats, gloves, and goggles) are non-returnable if unwrapped.
    • Lab coats may be exchanged if unopened
    • Goggles and gloves are non-exchangeable

RETURN CONDITON POLICY

  • All TAAP course materials must be returned undamaged, no liquid damage, torn/missing pages, opened packaging, or markings. We reserve the right to determine if the return condition is acceptable.
  • Items purchased with a credit/bank card and accompanied by a receipt; the refund will be issued to the credit/bank. Items purchased with cash will be refunded to a UCCS Campus Store gift card.
  • Items returned without a receipt; the refund will be refunded to a UCCS Campus Store gift card.

GENERAL MERCHANDISE RETURNS/EXCHANGES:

  • Merchandise (excluding required supplies) may be returned within 14 days, in the original condition.
  • Required supplies may be returned within 7 days, in original, unopened packaging with seal intact.
  • Clearance items cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • Gift Cards are non-returnable and refundable.
  • Special order/customized items are non-returnable or exchangeable unless defective.
  • Graduation/regalia items are non-returnable, but exchanges are allowed for incorrect cap/gown size or tassel color.
  • PPE items (lad coats, gloves, and goggles) are non-returnable if unwrapped.
    • Lab coats may be exchanged if unopened
    • Goggles and gloves are non-exchangeable

DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED ITEMS

  • If item(s) are damaged or defective and you are unable to visit the store, please contact

    shop@uccs.edu.

  • Defective or damaged merchandise must be returned with original packaging and will be exchanged for the same item.

Shipped Orders:

  • The return policy begins with notification of order shipment. If upon arrival, the item(s) are damaged or defective, please include a printed copy of the Cash Sale receipt and a brief explanation stating the damage or defect. Please include your contact information with all returns and ships to:
