Course Materials Purchased via Akademos Marketplace
Course Materials Purchased Outside of TAAP
7 business days from the date of purchase with receipt and in original condition.
PPE items, such as gloves, goggles, and lab coats, are non-returnable if unwrapped.
Restock fees apply to all course material returns.
Refund Deadlines
All course material returns must be completed on or before the Census Date.
Term Policy
Classes 2 weeks or less in length: Course Materials are non-returnable
*After Census date, all course materials are non-returnable.
General Merchandise
If an exchange or return is needed on the merchandise purchased, please follow the guidelines:
All merchandise must arrive in new saleable condition with tags attached for credit to be issued or to receive a replacement or refund.
All shrink-wrapped items are non-returnable if unwrapped, unless defective. In that case, the merchandise may be replaced (see below):
Item Policy
Merchandise: May be returned within 14 days of the sale date printed on the receipt or date of order pickup.
Electronic/Computer Supplies: Returnable if defective, must have original packaging; otherwise, non-returnable.
Gift Cards: Not redeemable for cash and expire five years from the date of purchase.
Wrong item, size, or color: We will promptly replace, or at our discretion refund any incorrect merchandise.
Graduation Regalia: These are final sale items that are not available for return. Exchanges are allowed for incorrect gown size or type, and for incorrect color of tassel/hood.
Special Orders, Study Aids, Test Prep, Barcharts, and Clearance Items: These are final sale items and are not available for return nor exchange.
Defective or Damaged Items from Online Orders
Return policy begins upon notification of order shipment. If upon arrival, the item(s) are damaged or defective, please include a printed copy of the Cash Sale receipt and a brief explanation stating the damage or defect. Please include your contact information with all returns and ship to:

TAAP Exchanges and Returns
Course Materials
- All TAAP items must be picked up on or before the deadlines listed. If the items are not picked up, the student relinquishes ownership and the items will be promptly returned to the distributor.
- Fall: Last Friday in September
- Spring: Last Friday in February
- Summer: Last Friday in June
TAAPed Out
- All items received through TAAP must be returned within 7 business days from the TAAP-out date.
- All course materials must be returned in the original state as received. All shrink-wrapped items must be wrapped in the original packaging.
- If the course materials are not returned or are returned damaged, the student will be charged the current retail cost of the course material, placed on their student account, by the following:
- Fall: First week in October
- Spring: First week in March
- Summer: First week in July
- Students must TAAP-out on or before Census Date.
Dropped Courses
- If a course is dropped, the course materials must be returned within 7 business days of the drop date.
- Ex: If a course is dropped on August 28th, all course materials must be returned no later than September 6th.
- All course materials must be returned in the original state as received. All shrink-wrapped items must be wrapped in the original packaging.
- If the course materials are not returned or are returned damaged, the student will be charged the current retail cost of the course material, placed on their student account, by the following:
- Fall: First week in October
- Spring: First week in March
- Summer: First week in July
- PPE items, such as lab coats and goggles, are non-returnable if unwrapped.
- Exchanges are available for lab coats if unopened.
- Goggles are not eligible for exchanges.
- Students must drop on or before Census Date.
Defective or Damaged Items
If the student receives a damaged or defective item(s), please contact Customer Service Center and login to work with the customer service support team.
